This weekend I went to a family get together to celebrate the 2nd year of life of one of their children. When I arrived I was allowed into the door and then ignored for approximately 5 minutes... (this doesn't bother me as it is what I expect) after a while my partner and I were acknowledged and we interacted with others... BUT there was one thing there that amused and disturbed me..
I have a nearly 60 year old uncle (whom I dispise, but that's another story) who I think has a pretty good crop of hair. A grey down the sides and then the old man pepper look on top... But not anymore. For reasons best known to himself he has bleached his hair big time.
It would be ok if it was an even colour, or even looked ok... But no it was truly horrible.
Now I know it cant be a mid life crisis thing as he has already had it and did the new job, new life, new wife thing... but there must have been a point where he looked in the mirror and said "Yeah, that is the look I want. Nicotine stained white. This looks shit hot."
And what makes it even worse is no one will tell him just so he looks like a dick for longer, thats my excuse anyway.
